What is APR? Is it a good tool to compare 2 products? Should one use APR only to decide which home loan or mortgage they should get?
APR (Annual Percentage Rate) was created to help a consumer compare 2 loan products. It was created with and is used today with the purest of intentions however, it is my opinion, APR can be misleading. Episode 057 defines what APR is and shows highlights some of the shortcomings.
